Pamela has nearly fourteen years of experience as a federal district court law clerk. She joined Johnson, Heidepriem, & Abdallah as an associate attorney in early 2008. Her practice is focused in trial work and civil litigation, including complex business litigation, professional malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, fiduciary litigation, and constitutional claims. She also practices federal criminal defense.
Pamela was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She received a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, graduating summa cum laude. She graduated summa cum laude and first in her class from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1994.
In 1995, Pamela was admitted to the State Bar of South Dakota and has been an active member since that date. She served as President of the Young Lawyers Section from 2000 to 2001 and on the Young Lawyers Board from 1999 to 2001. She has been appointed to several committees and has served as the Chair of the Law School Committee for 9 years.
From 1994 to 2008, Pamela was a federal law clerk. She clerked for the Honorable John B. Jones for 5½ years, for the Honorable Charles B. Kornmann for 17 months and most recently for The Honorable Lawrence L. Piersol for 7 years. From her experience with the federal courts, Pamela developed an in-depth knowledge of the federal rules and federal court practice.
Pamela and her husband Pat have twin boys and a daughter.
